LSHTM Press is an open access publisher in the fields of public and global health. We aim to enable the widest possible dissemination so that people around the world can find and access the information they need without barriers.
Groups seeking to start a new journal will be asked to describe how their journal will contribute to their field of study, and be confident that this is not being provided elsewhere by another journal. An Editorial Team should be in place and a development plan provided indicating how the journal will be sustainable. For further information regarding setting up a journal and support provided by LSHTM Press, please contact us at lshtmpress@lshtm.ac.uk.
All contributors, including authors and editors, must commit to the aims and intentions of LSHTM Press and adhere to its commitments, as well as agreeing to follow the Code of Conduct and Best Practices from the Committee of Publication Ethics.
The initial focus of LSHTM Press will be on the publication of journals, with the aim to expand into book publishing in the medium term. If you have a book proposal you would like to discuss please get in touch with us.
Applications for starting a new journal, or moving an existing journal to the platform, will be considered by the LSHTM Press Steering Committee following submission of a completed New Journal Proposal Form.
