    Publish with LSHTM Press

LSHTM Press is an open access publisher in the fields of public and global health.  We aim to enable the widest possible dissemination so that people around the world can find and access the information they need without barriers.

    Journal Publishing

We welcome applications from existing journals interested in joining us. We commit to never charging fees beyond what is required for publication, and operate a diamond open access model wherever possible. For more information contact us at lshtmpress@lshtm.ac.uk, or complete the Journal Application Form.

Groups seeking to start a new journal will be asked to describe how their journal will contribute to their field of study, and be confident that this is not being provided elsewhere by another journal. An Editorial Team should be in place and a development plan provided indicating how the journal will be sustainable. For further information regarding setting up a journal and support provided by LSHTM Press, please contact us or complete the Journal Application Form.

All contributors, including authors and editors, must commit to the aims and intentions of LSHTM Press and adhere to its commitments, as well as agreeing to follow the Code of Conduct and Best Practices from the Committee of Publication Ethics.

All journal applications will be considered by the LSHTM Press Steering Committee.

    Book Publishing

LSHTM Press is now considering proposals for the publication of books.

Authors interested in publishing a book with LSHTM Press should complete our Book Proposal Form. Your proposal should cover the overall purpose and aims of your book and provide a chapter-by-chapter summary of its contents.

Each proposal will be considered by the LSHTM Press Steering Committee and assessed in accordance with the Press’ Aims and strategic objectives.
